(+) The body language is good too - the poses show the tension of the moment.
(-) The samurai from the right has very sharp light/shadow on his clothes which makes contrast with the background and the warrior on the threshold. Maybe making it a bit softer?

I do agree with storyteller though...the guy on the right seems at odds, stylistically, with the rest of the painting....he looks like a cell animation over a painted background...this also gives him a slightly floaty, unconnected with the floor look.
Overall a good painting though...and gave me a chance to catch up on your other postings....which are very cool!
